Perlman & Perlman proudly welcomes Associate Attorney Carly Leinheiser to the firm. Ms. Leinheiser received her J.D. from New York University School of Law where was awarded the Vanderbilt Medal for Outstanding Contributions to the School of Law. Her experience includes working for the National Center on Philanthropy and the Law and Charities Registration Section of the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office.
Karen Wu was selected as the recipient of New York State Bar Association’s 2012 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. The honor is awarded to a young lawyer who has rendered outstanding service to both the community and legal profession.

Cliff Perlman will lead the workshop Navigating the Charitable Solicitation Regulation Maze at the Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York. The workshop will help participants untangle the process of charitable state registration and understand how more recent forms of solicitation, including online fundraising, cause-marketing, and text messaging are regulated.
