Therese (Taffy) FitzMaurice
Taffy brings decades of experience in helping clients comply with a broad range of employment laws and regulations, as well as in managing related challenges such as employee terminations, reductions in workforce, sexual harassment and discrimination complaints, and drafting and negotiating severance agreements.
Her prior experience as an HR Director enhances Taffy’s ability to work with human resource professionals on a variety of pro-active matters such as drafting and negotiating employment agreements/offer letters (including non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements), developing policies and procedures, conducting management and human resource personnel training, and assisting with internal investigations and audits.
Taffy has been active in her community by serving as Board Chairman or board member for several nonprofit arts organizations.
