State Registration of Gift Annuity Programs
Since 1959, the firm of Perlman & Perlman, Esqs. has provided registration and compliance services with State and local authorities for non-profit organizations, fund-raising consultants, professional solicitors and commercial co-venturers. These services include preparation of registration statements; the filing of all required documentation; and all requisite follow-up with the registration authorities. Perlman & Perlman currently registers over 250 charities nationwide. Recently, we have added the service of filing annual statements for gift annuity programs and obtaining licenses to sell annuities in the various states requiring a license.
In addition, we review contracts and financial statements to ensure they meet all necessary state and local requirements. Registrations and Licensing Services
Overseen by Cliff Perlman, our experienced Compliance Specialists prepare, file and administer all of the requisite registration statements and related documents, review contracts and financial statements and generally administer all registration matters. In addition, our attorneys will prosecute applications for licenses to sell annuities in the states so requiring a license. We will also notify those states that require notice that a charity is selling annuities in their state.
