Jennifer Hu Corriggio focuses on advising collaborative efforts between nonprofit and for-profit entities, governance, tax, contract, and employment law issues.
Experience
Ms. Corriggio practiced at the New York law firms of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Kornstein Veisz Wexler & Pollard LLP. She was a Visiting Assistant Law Professor at the Florida Coastal School of Law, where she helped establish the school’s International and Comparative Law certificate program.
Professional & Nonprofit Affiliations
During her time in Florida, Ms. Corriggio served as an Advisory Council Board Member for the University of North Florida’s Fine Arts Center and on the Programming Board Committee.
Publications
Ms. Corriggio has written articles on a variety of legal topics including SEC regulations of offshore offerings by foreign entities, ethnic minority rights, and the fiduciary duty of nonprofit boards. Her article “Gitano Legal Codes: European Union Laws on Governance within Spanish Roma Communities” was published in the Michigan Journal of Race and Law in 2007.
